Just some party favors

A couple of weeks ago I was hired to be the photographer at a classmate's sister's bat mitzvah and I really liked these two photos that I got of the party favors on the table with all of the flower petals everywhere

I enjoyed getting the experience and such, however I'm never going to photograph a young teenager's party e v e r  a g a i n. 
I was exhausted and on my feet literally from the moment I got there (5:30) until I was dismissed to leave (around 10, 10:15 perhaps. I'm lucky that I didn't have to stay until 11 because pretty much everybody was leaving or winding down so there were no more photo opportunities present) but honestly I'm too much of an introvert to be around that many people for such a long amount of time. So many preteens. So many screaming kids. The music was so loud that even when I went outside for a five minute break I was maybe twenty feet from the door and could still hear it clear as day. I slept for maybe twelve or so hours afterwards and was just a tired mess for days. I mean, I got paid $100 and I saved them over a grand (bat mitzvah photographers are hella fucking expensive. I looked up prices out of curiosity and the cheapest one was $1800. Just for photos and a CD of them. Nothing else.) so that was nice. 
But yeah I'm never going to subject myself to so many kids and such loud music all in a small crowded space for more than an hour maximum ever again, no matter how much you pay me. Only good thing was that I had a lovely conversation with a group of elders there about the inner workings of photography (even with my limited knowledge being an amateur) and they admitted to having tried to analyze me and "figure me out" from across the room whilst I happened to be eavesdropping on their conversation about the universe and it's complexity. Only good thing about the night. 
Children are difficult.
